The West Highland Way path ushers out directly opposite the Tailrace Inn in the centre of the scenic historic village of Kinlochleven which nestles at the head of Loch Leven in the world famous West Highlands of Scotland. Surrounded by the spectacular Mamore Mountain range midway between Glencoe and Ben Nevis; hillwalkers; climbers; outdoor activities enthusiasts; and all visitors to, and travellers through this stunningly beautiful area will be warmly welcomed for refreshment; replenishment; relaxation and rest in the clean comfortable en-suite accommodation; restaurant and bar. The very popular lounge bar is a warm welcoming venue regularly featuring traditional live music, and for the musicians among our guests/visitors our selection of instruments are available for your use. The juke box boasts an extensive selection and there's also a wide screen satellite TV. Families are welcome and we regularly offer special deals.

Clean comfortable accommodation in 6 en-suite rooms: 3 rooms with a double bed and single bed (which can be let either as a double, twin or triple) 2 double rooms 1 family room (sleeps 5). All the bedrooms also have the following facilities: Colour TV/DVD players Tea and coffee making facilities Hairdryer Midge screens on all windows Choice of Continental or Full breakfast. Packed lunches available on request. Drying room available for residents use. Breakfast and Packed Lunches available to non-residents.

Good Food & Drink Home cooked* food freshly prepared to order; locally sourced where possible. And an excellent drink/beverage selection available all day** in the newly refurbished restaurant and lounge bar, also outdoors on the picnic style tables (midge eater to keep the tiny pests in their place!). Non residents very welcome for breakfast; and packed lunches available on request. Food is available all day, and whilst it is helpful to us to finish by 9pm; our Highland Hospitality approach means that no-one is ever turned away hungry. Large groups are welcome, and when possible it helps to give us notice of your intention to come and dine. The Mamore Mountain Range from the Blackwater Reservoir to Ben Nevis

Climbing, canoeing and skiing are all available within 30 minutes drive of Kinlochleven.
Fishing permits for the River Leven and hill lochs can be arranged.
Pony trekking is also available at nearby Appin and Torlundy.
Hill walkers and skiers are spoilt for choice with the Nevis and Glencoe mountains ranges.
The less energetic can take the gondola 2150 feet up Aonach Mor!

There's much to see and do in this area of magnificent scenery and history
where the movies Rob Roy and Braveheart were filmed.
