Kinlochleven is situated on the West Highland Way walking route
between Kingshouse and Fort William.
The village is 30 minutes drive (22 miles) from Fort William.

Fort William is: 105 miles north of Glasgow 145 miles from Edinburgh 45 miles south-east of Mallaig 50 miles north of Oban 65 miles south-west of Inverness Coach travel There is a regular bus service to and from Kinlochleven to Glencoe, Ballachulish and Fort William. Scottish Citylink operates a daily coach service between Fort William and Inverness and Oban, with connections from Glasgow and Edinburgh and other places in between. Glencoe is situated on the Fort William - Glasgow coach route.

Rail travel The West Highland Line runs from Glasgow to Fort William and then onto Mallaig for the ferry to Skye. The journey is said to be one of the the most scenic train rides in the world.
